Illumina and Amgen entered a multi-year collaboration to leverage Illumina's population-scale genomics capabilities and Amgen's proprietary deCODE genetics database to advance drug discovery and development. The collaboration utilizes whole genome sequencing data from deCODE's database of more than 500,000 consented participants. Financial terms were not publicly disclosed.
