Aligos Therapeutics granted Xiamen Amoytop Biotech exclusive rights to develop and commercialize pevifoscorvir sodium in Greater China (Mainland China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau) for chronic hepatitis B virus infection. Aligos receives a $25 million upfront payment and is eligible for up to $420 million in clinical, regulatory and sales milestones plus tiered high single-digit royalties on net sales in the licensed territories. Aligos retains all development and commercialization rights in the United States, Europe, South Korea, Japan and all other markets, and retains the right to conduct clinical trials in Greater China.
