Sensei Biotherapeutics, Inc. / Faeth Therapeutics
2026 · Acquisition/Merger · Complete
Nasdaq-listed Sensei Biotherapeutics announced the acquisition of privately held, clinical-stage Faeth Therapeutics alongside an approximately US$200 million concurrent private placement. The deal brings Faeth's lead asset PIKTOR -- an all-oral combination of the PI3K-alpha inhibitor serabelisib and the dual mTORC1/2 inhibitor sapanisertib -- into a public vehicle for development in endometrial and breast cancer. Deal consideration was not disclosed. Sensei later adopted the Faeth Therapeutics name and the FTH ticker, making the transaction functionally a reverse merger.
This deal is too recent to grade. Critic Score and Outcome Score are assigned after the announcement-week coverage settles and, for Outcome, after the 5-year post-close assessment window opens — expected 2031 at the earliest for this deal, once/if it closes.
