Royalty Pharma acquired a portion of Neurimmune's royalty interest in AstraZeneca's cliramitug for up to USD 425 million. Royalty Pharma paid USD 125 million upfront, will pay a further USD 125 million in the first quarter of 2027, and the remaining USD 175 million is contingent on certain clinical and regulatory milestones. In exchange Royalty Pharma receives a 3 to 4 percent royalty on worldwide net sales of cliramitug, a first-in-class Phase 3 TTR-fibril-depleting antibody for transthyretin amyloidosis with cardiomyopathy currently in the DepleTTR-CM trial with results expected in 2028.
