Regeneron and Parabilis Medicines entered a strategic research collaboration to discover and develop therapeutic candidates based on Parabilis' Helicon peptide platform, focused on Antibody-Helicon Conjugates aimed at historically undruggable targets. Parabilis receives USD 125 million comprising a USD 50 million upfront payment and a USD 75 million equity commitment, and is eligible for up to approximately USD 2.2 billion in additional milestone payments plus tiered royalties, for a disclosed total of up to roughly USD 2.3 billion. The collaboration covers five initial targets, with Regeneron able to replace up to two and to nominate up to five additional targets for an extra option payment. Regeneron takes responsibility for development, manufacturing and worldwide commercialization.
