Seattle Genetics and Pieris formed a multi-program immuno-oncology collaboration in February 2018 to develop bispecific Antibody-Anticalin fusion proteins. Seattle Genetics paid $30M upfront with up to $1.2B in success-based milestones across three programs, plus tiered royalties up to low double-digits. Pieris retained the option to co-develop and co-commercialize the second program in the US on a 50/50 basis.
