Everest Medicines entered a commercialization license agreement with Beijing Mabworks Biotech for Bejescin (MIL62, obinutuzumab beta injection) across Asia-Pacific excluding mainland China, covering Southeast Asia, India, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR and the Taiwan region. Everest will pay Mabworks RMB 23 million upfront plus sales milestones of up to RMB 186 million, and Mabworks is also eligible for a share of regional gross profit. Bejescin is a third-generation anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody approved in China in February 2026 for neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder, the first CD20 antibody approved for that indication globally and the first domestically developed therapy in China; an NDA for primary membranous nephropathy is under NMPA Priority Review. USD-equivalent deal value is left NULL because no announcement-date exchange rate was sourced.
