Eli Lilly and Company entered an exclusive research and collaboration agreement with Canadian biotech QurCan Therapeutics to develop PLNP-enabled genetic medicines for central and peripheral nervous system delivery, using QurCan's Target-Engineered Responsive Polymer (TERP) nanoparticle platform for tissue-selective extra-hepatic delivery to brain and spinal cord. Lilly leads research, clinical development and commercialisation; QurCan receives an undisclosed upfront payment, a strategic equity investment, research support, approximately $237 million in milestones per program and tiered royalties on global net sales. Aggregate deal value is not determinable because the number of programs was not disclosed.
