AstraZeneca and Harbour BioMed entered a global strategic collaboration (announced March 21, 2025) with $175M in upfront/near-term payments and option fees plus up to $4.4B in development and commercial milestones, tiered royalties, and a $105M equity investment by AstraZeneca for 9.15% of newly issued Harbour BioMed shares. AstraZeneca holds an option to license preclinical programs generated on Harbour's Harbour Mice platform and nominates further targets for next-generation multi-specific antibody discovery. Harbour BioMed's H1 2025 interim results confirm AstraZeneca completed the 9.15% equity investment and the collaboration is in force. On November 23, 2025 the companies advanced the collaboration into next-generation oncology biotherapeutics, including antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and T cell engagers, with AstraZeneca to nominate discovery programs annually over four years; the expansion's economics are consistent with the original March 2025 framework (no new dollar figures disclosed).
