BridGene Biosciences announced a strategic collaboration with Takeda to discover small molecule drugs against challenging immunology and neurology targets using BridGene's IMTAC chemoproteomics platform. BridGene receives $46M in combined upfront and potential preclinical milestone payments and is eligible for additional clinical and commercial milestones totalling approximately $770M in aggregate. The companies will advance projects through hit finding and early lead development; Takeda holds exclusive rights to develop and commercialize any resulting products. This is the second small-molecule collaboration between the two companies.
