Rumi Therapeutics / Enthorin Therapeutics

2026 · Licensing/Option · Complete

Rumi Therapeutics and Enthorin Therapeutics entered an option-to-license agreement covering ENT-7340, Enthorin's IND-ready selective phosphodiesterase 2A (PDE2A) inhibitor, for Fragile X syndrome and other intellectual and developmental disabilities. The candidate moves into Rumi's pipeline as RTX-7340. Enthorin receives an undisclosed upfront payment, an option exercise fee, development, regulatory and commercial milestones, and royalties on future net sales; no dollar figures were disclosed. Rumi assumes responsibility for development, with Enthorin providing scientific and technical support through the initial stages. PDE2A regulates both cAMP and cGMP signalling in pathways governing neuronal function and synaptic plasticity, the biology implicated in Fragile X syndrome. Rumi is advancing RTX-7340 toward clinical evaluation using disease-mechanism and translational insight from Rumi Scientific's human organoid platform. The underlying PDE2 programme builds on research funded by the FRAXA Research Foundation.

This deal is too recent to grade. Critic Score and Outcome Score are assigned after the announcement-week coverage settles and, for Outcome, after the 5-year post-close assessment window opens — expected 2031 at the earliest for this deal, once/if it closes.
