MannKind Corporation and Rose Pharma Inc. entered a worldwide licensing and collaboration agreement to develop ROSE-010 Technosphere, an inhaled rapid-acting, short-duration GLP-1 receptor agonist for weight management. Rose Pharma received an exclusive, worldwide license to use MannKind proprietary Technosphere dry-powder inhalation technology to develop and commercialize ROSE-010 Technosphere. MannKind will support formulation development and advance the program through pharmaceutical development services to completion of Phase 1b in weight management; Rose Pharma retains responsibility for clinical development, regulatory strategy and commercialization. Specific financial terms were not disclosed; MannKind receives an equity interest in Rose Pharma, royalties on potential future net sales, and a seat on the Rose Pharma board.
