PTC acquires a BLA-stage Fabry gene therapy out of Sangamo's bankruptcy auction
Full analysis, sources & comparables →PTC Therapeutics was selected as the winning bidder in Sangamo Therapeutics' competitive bankruptcy asset auction to acquire ST-920 (isaralgagene civaparvovec), a BLA-stage one-time AAV gene therapy for Fabry disease that delivers a functional copy of the GLA gene. PTC will pay USD 111 million in cash at closing plus up to USD 100 million in milestones - USD 80 million on FDA accelerated approval and USD 20 million on full or traditional FDA approval - for headline consideration of up to USD 211 million. A rolling BLA submission for accelerated approval is expected to complete in Q4 2026. The auction was part of a broader Sangamo process yielding USD 163.55 million in aggregate cash at closing across successful bidders and is subject to bankruptcy court approval.
