On 2026-10-02 Novartis and Abogen Biosciences entered a licensing and option agreement granting Novartis an exclusive worldwide license to ABO2203, an investigational LNP-formulated mRNA encoding a CD19xCD3 bispecific T-cell engager being developed for B-cell-mediated autoimmune diseases. The agreement also grants Novartis exclusive options to license next-generation therapeutic assets built on Abogen's RNA platform. Abogen receives USD 575 million upfront and is eligible for up to approximately USD 7.2 billion in development, regulatory and commercial milestones if all options on all programs are exercised, plus potential royalties on future product sales.
