Norgine / X4 Pharmaceuticals

2025 · Licensing/Option · Complete

X4 Pharmaceuticals and Norgine entered an exclusive licensing and supply agreement under which Norgine will commercialize mavorixafor in Europe, Australia and New Zealand following regulatory approvals. Mavorixafor is a selective oral CXCR4 antagonist approved in the U.S. as XOLREMDI for patients 12 years and older with WHIM syndrome, and is in a global pivotal Phase 3 trial in chronic neutropenia. X4 receives a EUR 28.5 million upfront payment and is eligible for up to EUR 226 million in regulatory and commercial milestones plus tiered double-digit royalties up to the mid-twenties. X4 expected to submit a Marketing Authorisation Application to the EMA for mavorixafor in WHIM syndrome shortly after the announcement.

This deal is too recent to grade. Critic Score and Outcome Score are assigned after the announcement-week coverage settles and, for Outcome, after the 5-year post-close assessment window opens — expected 2030 at the earliest for this deal, once/if it closes.
