Coherent Biopharma signed an exclusive license agreement on 22 December 2025 with US-based NewCo MultiValent Biotherapies for CBP-1018, a bispecific ligand-drug conjugate targeting PSMA and folate receptor alpha built on Coherent's Bi-XDC platform. MultiValent obtains exclusive rights to develop and commercialize CBP-1018 outside Greater China and intends to develop it as a local therapy for prostate cancer. Coherent receives a USD 20 million upfront payment, a 20% equity stake in MultiValent, milestone payments of up to approximately USD 2 billion and tiered royalties on future sales.
