On September 2, 2026, Medicus Pharma Ltd., through Medicus Pharma Inc., entered a co-development and license agreement with Pfizer granting Medicus an exclusive worldwide license to develop, manufacture and commercialize PF-08046031 (CD228V), an early clinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate targeting melanotransferrin (CD228). Medicus paid US$12 million upfront and owes a further US$15 million on the first anniversary; Pfizer contributed US$2 million in dedicated development funding and is eligible for more than US$1 billion in development, regulatory and sales milestones plus tiered low double-digit royalties. Medicus retains sole control over development, manufacture, regulatory approval and commercialization; Pfizer retains patent ownership.
