Lupin Limited, through its wholly owned subsidiary VISUfarma, entered an exclusive licensing agreement with Tenpoint Therapeutics and Visus Therapeutics to commercialize YUVEZZI (carbachol and brimonidine tartrate ophthalmic solution 2.75%/0.1%) for presbyopia in adults across the European Union, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Norway and Iceland. VISUfarma assumes regulatory, marketing, promotion, distribution and sales responsibility in the licensed territories. Total potential consideration before first commercial sales is up to EUR 75 million, including a EUR 20 million investment in Visus or its parent via a Simple Agreement for Future Equity; Tenpoint and Visus are additionally eligible for regulatory and commercial milestone payments and tiered royalties on net sales.
