Gan & Lee Pharmaceuticals signed an exclusive license agreement granting JW Pharmaceutical rights to the clinical development, regulatory filing and commercialization of Bofanglutide Injection, a bi-weekly GLP-1 receptor agonist discovered and developed by Gan & Lee, in South Korea. Gan & Lee receives a one-time non-refundable upfront payment of $5M and is eligible for milestone payments totaling $76.1M tied to R&D progress, regulatory approvals and commercialization. This is Gan & Lee's third overseas out-licensing deal for Bofanglutide, after Latin America and India.
