Heron Therapeutics entered a multi-product Development and License Agreement with Long Grove Pharmaceuticals and Capstone Development Services Company dated 23 September 2026. Long Grove grants Heron an exclusive (as to the licensed patents), sublicensable licence to import, distribute, sell and market certain products in the United States and its territories, commonwealths and possessions, plus a non-exclusive worldwide manufacturing licence for sale in that territory, with obligations to collaborate on developing and commercialising the products. Capstone is a party solely to provide certain exclusivity covenants and backstop obligations. Heron will pay regulatory milestone payments, sales-based milestone payments and royalties, and will be reimbursed for certain expenses; no amounts were disclosed. The initial term runs ten years from first commercial sale with automatic two-year renewals. The products were not named in the Form 8-K; the full agreement is to be filed with Heron Form 10-Q for the quarter ending 30 September 2026.
