GSK and Relation Therapeutics expanded their partnership into a strategic research collaboration to generate large-scale human cellular perturbation datasets and deploy them in MORGAN (Multi-Omic Regulatory Genomics using Artificial Neural Networks), Relation's cellular biology foundation model. The datasets capture how human cells respond to genetic and pharmacological interventions and are intended to support novel target discovery. Relation is eligible for up to $110 million in upfront and success-based milestone payments. The deal builds on an earlier GSK-Relation collaboration in fibrotic disease and osteoarthritis. The upfront/milestone split was not disclosed.
