GSK and CureVac restructured their existing 2020 mRNA collaboration into a new licensing agreement. CureVac receives €400M (~$434M) upfront and up to €1.05B in development, regulatory and sales milestones plus tiered royalties. GSK gains full global rights to develop, manufacture and commercialize mRNA vaccines for seasonal flu, COVID-19, and avian flu currently in Phase 1/2 development.
