GSK plc agreed to acquire full global rights to a preclinical trispecific T cell-engager programme from privately held Chimagen Biosciences for a total potential value of up to $750 million, comprising an undisclosed upfront fee plus success-based development and commercial milestones. The candidate binds T cells while simultaneously targeting two validated tumour-associated antigens rather than a single tumour target, and GSK plans to develop and commercialise it in multiple myeloma with Phase I entry expected in 2027. This is GSK's second transaction with Chimagen, following a 2024 agreement worth up to $850 million covering a separate T cell engager.
