Bayer agreed to sell global rights to its oncology product Stivarga (regorafenib) to the Gruenenthal Group for maximum consideration of EUR 375 million, approximately US$431 million. Stivarga is an oral multikinase inhibitor approved in more than 90 markets for metastatic colorectal cancer, gastrointestinal stromal tumors and hepatocellular carcinoma. Gruenenthal estimates Stivarga may contribute up to approximately EUR 100 million to consolidated EBITDA for the year ending 31 December 2027, assuming close by end of 2026 or early 2027 and full-year consolidation. Loss of exclusivity is anticipated in 2029 in the European Union and 2030 in the United States. The transaction is expected to complete by the end of 2026 or early 2027, subject to customary closing conditions.
