Xilio Development, a wholly owned subsidiary of Xilio Therapeutics, entered a collaboration, license and option agreement with AbbVie on February 10, 2025 (publicly announced February 12, 2025) covering up to four programs built on Xilio's tumor-activation platform. The agreement comprises an exclusive option for an initial masked T-cell engager program plus up to two additional option programs, and an exclusive license for a masked antibody-based immunotherapy collaboration program. Xilio receives $52.0 million in total upfront payments including a $10.0 million equity investment, and is eligible for up to approximately $2.1 billion in total contingent option fees and milestones plus tiered royalties.
